Cascade Striders

Welcome to the 2010 Cross Country Season! Our first official practice will be on Wednesday, September 8 from 5:30pm-7pm, at Wilburton Hill Park in Bellevue. Please note that there will be a parents’ meeting for the first 45 minutes of practice. We’d like all parents to attend!

Registration for the season will begin at the first practice. So please bring your completed registration forms to practice. Registration materials and other important information for the 2010 season can be found in the 2010 Cross Country Handbook. Athletes must be registered no later than Monday, September 20, 2010 in order to continue with the season.

We look forward to another fun and challenging cross country season!

The Cascade Striders will be hosting their annual track meet on Sat June 12th at Sammamish High School. All athletes must be pre-registered by Wednesday, June 9th. For more information please review the meet flyer.

Sat, June 12th (Cascade Striders Home Meet @ SHS) - As a reminder, all families are obligated to assist in this event. It takes the entire membership to make this meet a success each year and is the club’s only fund-raiser.

Mon, Jun 28th (End of Season Picnic @ Newcastle Beach) - A chance to recognize our athletes and volunteers and have some fun.

Parents - be sure to attend a quick meeting at the start of practice on Wednesday, April 21st in the SHS cafeteria to discuss our upcoming meets.

Uniform sales will also be available between 6-7p. Check payment only please (no cash).

The 2010 Track and Field season is set to begin on Wednesday, March 17. Practice will run from 6:00 - 7:30 pm (beginning with a short orientation for athletes and parents) at Sammamish High School. The 2010 Track Handbook will provide you with important reference information for this season.

Registration requires a USATF membership number.  If you do not currently have one, you may obtain one online at USATF.

You must submit a separate 2010 Track Registration Form for each athlete.  Once you have completed the form, you may click the submit button at the upper right hand corner of the form or simply save the file and email as an attachment to registrar@cascadestriders.com.  Please, no hardcopies.

Checks payable to the Cascade Striders can be turned in at practice any time before March 31st.  Uniform orders can also be made at practice.

Reminder to all athletes that starting Monday, Nov 2nd, all weekday practices will be at a new location and time.
